[ once he's out of the safehouse, cass gets a message showing her where dick is staying. he also texts her with some times he plans to be outside training if she wants to join him.

most of all, she is welcome to the couch. ]

[ Cass shows up the very next training slot, dressed in sparring-appropriate gear and sporting a pair of fingerless gloves to go with them. ]

Wanna fight? [ She signs, and grins. ]

[ he's on the roof when she turns up. going through some kata.

dick grins at her. ]

Hell yeah.

[ he does the famous yet dorky c'mere gesture. kick his ass, cass! ]

forgive me I am not skilled at writing a fight scene

[ Cass laughs out loud at that and crosses the roof, grinning at him even as she settles herself into position.

She makes the first move, doing her level best to feel him out first, at least, before she starts knocking him off his feet. ]

[ silena loves noodles. she grew up almost equidistant between between koreatown and chinatown and after a long day at the chocolaterie her dad tended to eschew cooking dinner for takeout. if she and cass are going to get noodles, it only makes sense to go to the source.

they meet up at the gate and hop to their destination.

new seoul is beautiful in its ingenuity; a city of metal and glass built on the sea. she'd heard that was what new tokyo was like as well and she supposes it makes sense: japan was an island, it probably sank, korea was a peninsula, it probably also sank. ]

Did you travel a lot back home?

[ she twirls her spicy noodles around her chopsticks and stabs her hard boiled egg, popping the combo in her mouth as she glances over at cassandra. ]

[ Cass had just managed to shovel quite a bit of garlicky noodles into her mouth so she nods before signing with her hands. ]

I ran away from home when I was eight, [ she begins. ] I went all over the world; started in Asia and cut across Western Europe before ending up in the United States. The last few years I've stayed in just one place though, a city called Gotham.

How about you?

Nope. [ her expression loudly say DAMN GIRL because that definitely is all over the world and not some annoying girl at starbucks saying she's cultured because she went to spain once for two days when she was sixteen. ]

I've barely been outside of New York.

Until now, [ Cass points out, because this experience is still lived experience, even if it is somewhere and somewhen other than where one started. She smiles at SIlena's expression and ducks her head. ]

Do you think you'll travel now?

It can be fun. Lots of things to see. Different foods to try.

Let's go for day three. I don't think we were prepared to go without some extra hands, and it'll be a nice surprise after what they showed up in.
